We're off to Modernism Week and looking forward to all the tours and talks we can pack into our schedule. We're also proud sponsors of the Save Iconic Architecture (SIA) fundraiser on February 17th. See you there!
It’s spring and our thoughts are turning to favorite outside endeavors, like grilling for friends and family. With that in mind, we’re taking a look at some of our favorite products, both classic designs and new-to-market concepts.
Utility rooms come in all shapes and sizes but they don’t always get the attention they deserve. Our vendors offer some of the most beautiful and hardworking appliances on the market but there are so many other fun elements to consider, like color, cabinetry style and accessories. Did you know that many of our kitchen and bath products do double duty in laundry and mud rooms, like sturdy sinks, pullout faucets that give you greater range, beautiful hardware, and even smaller accessories like soap dispensers? Read on to learn more.
A luxurious home spa is a treat in any season but there’s something about the start of a New Year that make it feel exceptionally indulgent—and necessary. We’ve looked through our incredible catalogue of vendors to bring you a round up of some of our favorite products that will inspire you to make a private sanctuary of your very own.
Before we say goodbye to 2016, we want to take a look back at all the wonderful things that have happened for us at Snyder Diamond over the last twelve months. It’s been a terrific year and we’ve been thrilled to share everything with you in person at our showrooms and through our social media accounts, which allow us to connect with you so directly.
For more than a century, Whirlpool has been designing home appliances that are focused on how families care for their loved ones, be it through healthy new ways of cooking or energy-efficient washing. And while some of you probably already know that Whirlpool Corporation is one of Habitat for Humanity’s largest corporate partners, you might not yet know about their newest charitable effort, Care Counts.
Snyder Diamond is thrilled to be a part of WestEdge again this year—and this year we’re especially excited to sponsor a lounge space where we’ll also be live broadcasting our Convo by Design (CXD) podcast series. We wanted to offer WestEdge visitors a comfortable place to relax, work and listen to the interviews, and we couldn’t be happier to have Ryan White Designs outfitting our spectacular tent.
When Naomi Nielson Howard, founder of Native Trails, was a student at Cal Poly (studying social services with a dual minor in business and Spanish) she had the idea—the very bright idea—to found a company that could double as the focus of her class projects. She had spent childhood vacations in Central Mexico, the home of her stepfather, and fallen in love with the aesthetic and the many craftspeople she met on their trips. The idea to launch a small business of importing handmade crafts set her on a course that would ultimately lead to one of today’s most innovative and environmentally focused kitchen and bath manufacturers.
One of our favorite times of the year is when Snyder Diamond owner, Russ Diamond, returns from Salone de Mobile/EuroCucina in Milan and we get a sneak peek at international trends and fantastic new designs that will soon be arriving in our showrooms.
Did you know that Hollywood studio Warner Bros.’ on-site design team not only creates sets for film and television, they also do myriad projects for private clients like architects and designers, museums, retail shops, restaurants, showcase houses, artists like Alex Israel and, yes, Snyder Diamond? It’s true!
We often hear our design and architecture clients talk about hardware as "jewelry for the home," so we thought it'd be fun to take a closer look at some of the most innovate collections available at Snyder Diamond. Whether you're looking for minimalist pieces or knockout sparklers, we've got them.
