Calling all Italophiles—new to our showrooms is Viking’s spectacular Tuscany range. Created in partnership with Giga Grandi Cucini and manufactured in Scandicci, Italy, the range truly updates European country style for sophisticated modern-day kitchens around the world. The range, built with Viking’s signature materials and reliability, comes in two sizes, 36-inches wide and 48-inches wide, and is available in a multitude of configurations of high-performance gas burners, electric griddles and induction elements. Color finishes include stainless steel, antique white, graphite black and a bright blue—all with the company’s traditional polished-chrome trim. There’s a reason why the Tuscany was the hit of the 2015 KBIS show and why it was featured as a new product highlight in both the January issue of Architectural Digest and this month’s issue of the WSJ Magazine. Come in and see for yourself. We can’t promise that this little Italian masterpiece will have you whipping up Michelin-worthy meals the likes of which Massimo Bottura and Davide Scabin prepare, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction. Cin Cin!
And just for fun, check out the beautiful kitchen Steven Gambrel recently designed for a pre-war apartment building in Manhattan. It features a Viking range and was just published in the February issue of Architectural Digest. We’re smitten.
