Convo By Design, presented by Snyder Diamond has an interesting offering for you this week. I attended the Modern Luxury Interiors 2017 Faces of Design event held at the Roche Bobois showroom in Costa Mesa, California. We are honored to be included in the 2017 group of California design influencers and I will be bringing you conversations from this remarkable event over the next few weeks. Roche Bobois is a part of the SoCo Collection, an oasis of design, fashion and food in Orange County. We had a chance to record from the event, catch up with old friends and make some new ones. This episode features interior designer Cheryl Kaye, Modern Luxury Group Publisher, Chris Gialanella and artist Hunt Slonem. Slonem, known for his new-expressionist work is also a collector of rescued birds and rescued properties. Kaye, as a designer uses shape, texture and color in a way that is reminiscent of Slonem’s use of oil paint. She is fearless which makes for a great conversation. Gialanella manages a number of titles here is Southern California. Chris is what most would call a “people person”. He is one of those rare individuals that connects the dots and works partnerships in an artful way. Three superior creatives, artist Hunt Slonem, interior designer Cheryl Kaye and publisher Chris Gialanella.

Designer Lori Dennis created a sleek, stylish and sophisticated space with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean in what can be described as a remarkable bachelor pad. It was created for a client that allowed Lori to do what she does best, capture the essence of space and deliever on her client's true desires. Convo By Design speaks with ground breaking designers and offers micro case studies from superior projects like this Venice Beach gem that Lori likes to call, Bond at the Beach.
